The Order of the Grey Towers, an organization of the University of Chciago Library staff was established in 1915. The organization arranged plays, dinners, and lectures, operated a tea room with current periodicals for the use of the staff, and issued sporadic publications like Harper Weekly and the Grey Towers Gazette.
